Sweet Maria's Coffee
Great coffee (not always from Brazil).
Tom and Maria sell green beans, which you roast
yourself. You can use an air pop popcorn popper,
or invest in a real coffee roaster. It's a little
extreme, but makes great coffee. |
Rio Hiking
If you're going to Brasil, you're going to Rio; be sure
to contact Rio
Hiking. Denise and Gabriel are great people who know Rio from the
inside, and they will show you natural wonder. |

you're interested in guitar lessons, or in anything guitar related.
Interested in going to Brazil? Contact Jill. She has great information on
the Brazillian music scene.

I met Happy Traum on the Acoustic Guitar. He is the founder of Homespun
Tapes, a wonderful source for video and other instructional material—and
more. |
Peppino D'Agostino
I met Peppino on the Acoustic Guitar Cruise. If yo haven't heard him,
you really must. To hear a sample of him playing, see Jerry's Breakdown. |

David Hamburger
David is another of the extraordinary guitar players I met on the Acoustic
Guitar Cruise. Check out his website. |
Strawberry Music Festival
The festival is held each Spring around Memorial
Day, and each Fall around Labor Day. Near Yosemite,
it features acoustic music and bluegrass.
The performers are great. Camping is available. Check
it out. |
