I went to Thailand, with my friend Patriçia, in the fall of 2004.
Our first stop was Bangkok, a huge city. Some of the famous sites
include temples (wats) including the Wat Pho, with the reclining Buddha, and Wat Phra Rattanasatsadaram, with the emerald Buddha |
Next, we went to the northern city of Chiang Mai.
There, we stayed with a family at Joy's House, and then at a fabulous spa. |

Then, we flew to the beaches in the south, first Hat Railay (Railay Beach), with its beautiful cliffs. A favorite with rock climbers. Hat Railay
is located not far from Krabi. Then, we took a boat
to Ko Lanta, a less developed island further to the south. |
